It's got to be said that my visit to The York Dental Suite was an absolute pleasure today and that's not what one normally hears about a visit to the dentist is it? The entire team were so very friendly, kind and professional, explaining clearly every step along the way. I already knew Dr Mafalda Queiroz from another practice in York from years ago and decided to look her up and I'm utterly delighted I have done so and wish I'd done it earlier. She is a consummate professional, always putting in extra effort to make one feel relaxed and she offers options without any pressure to have treatment.
Her new dental suite is beautiful and she has chosen such a great team of staff to compliment her professional and friendly practice, suffice to say I highly recommend her.

Today was my first appointment, at York Dental Suite Aldwark York. I was anxious and embarrassed, as I had not been able to see a dentist for quite some time and my teeth, which I used to be proud of, sadly were not what they used to be. My nerves were soon put to rest, the receptionist was kind and friendly, Christian was my dentist with Bev his assistant. They were wonderful, both kind, caring and patient, Christian explained every detail in terms that I could understand, working with me in making a plan person centered. Thank You Both, for making my appointment a pleasure, not something, usually said about a Dentist appointment š. I know that I am in professional, expert, kind, caring hands with you , which made both my mouth and heart smile. THANK YOU BOTH š¤š¤

I'm rarely compelled to leave reviews but on this occasion its very necessary. Mafalda was absolutely incredible. After calling dentist after dentist with little to no help received (including my own dentist), I finally came across the York Dental Suite who gave me a next day emergency appointment to treat an abscess. From start to finish they have been amazing. I'm very, very nervous and my goodness they were welcoming, understanding and human. Everything was explained and I was comforted but most importantly I was taken seriously.
Mafalda and all the staff were brilliant, truly. I cannot recommend them highly enough. I'm moving down south but I'm going to keep this as my permanent dental practice. I've never experienced anything like it. Brilliant.

I've been considering improving my teeth for some time now. After visiting several places, I discovered The York Dental Suite. Chloe warmly greeted me, took my details, and explained the process over the phone. During my initial appointments, meeting Tracie & Rachel among others instantly put me at ease. Their friendly demeanour made me confident in my decision to proceed. Mafalda has been amazing and within just a few weeks, I received my first set of aligners.
The team are incredibly friendly and always responsive to any questions I have, whether it's over the phone or via email. Their prompt and helpful communication has been a great support throughout my dental journey so far! I am excited to continue my visits!

I was a patient of Dr. Mafalda Queiroz for nearly three years, having followed her from her previous practice to her beautiful new suite. All the staff there were always very welcoming to me- and the really smiley and positive energy made a lovely atmosphere. My teeth are so much straighter now, and I am so much more confident in my smile.
What I appreciated most about the Invisalign process I received here was the commitment to perfection. When my first set of aligners didn't fit quite right, they handled the replacement quickly and without any hassle. There were also many stubborn buttons that kept popping off, but the team was incredibly patient, replacing them as many times as it took to get them to stay.
If you're looking for an alternative to braces, I cannot recommend Dr. Mafalda and her team enough! Thank you for everything Mafalda and team.

I visited the practice for a complimentary Invisalign consultation, at first I didn't know what to expect however I found it so informative and it really helped me confirm that it is Invisalign treatment that is required to help me achieve the smile I've been wanting.
The team are amazing, from the friendly and warm welcome from the front desk to the informative treatment coordinator I saw for my consultation.
I'm very excited to get started with my Invisalign journey and have no doubt in my mind i'll be in very good hands.
Highly recommend to anyone thinking of having Invisalign or any other treatments. They definitely know how to provide great customer service/experience.

Mafalda has been my dentist for several years.
To judge from the results of my own treatment history, she is a very fine dentist.
Mafalda also communicates so very well, explaining as she works what has happened, is happening and what will happen, putting me at ease and feeling safe in her hands. She shows interest and respect in me as a patient and person, she is so warm and personable. She is very naturally patient and willing to answer any questions I have regarding the procedures.
I also have had my first hygiene treatment from Roxy which involved more spray and less scraping than I had become used to, which was welcome.
The staff I have met so far have been friendly and helpful.
The old liquor store has been transformed into the clean and modern Dental Suite. The equipment at The York Dental Suite also appears modern e.g. 3-D scanning. The bike racks are handy.

This is an amazing facility with the most welcoming staff! Literally everyone you encounter is polite and makes you feel at total ease.
My initial phone call to book in was with Chloe who explained everything amazingly and was also a friendly face at reception when I came for my appointment. Her customer service truly is second to none.
Tracie, my treatment coordinator, answered any questions I had and was very knowledgable in various areas of dentistry. She mapped out the next steps in my treatment (composite bonding and whitening) and again was polite and welcoming from the start.
I have an appointment next week with Dr Meghan to start my treatment and Iām excited to see my results š

Dr Mafalda Queiroz is by far one of the best dentists i have ever been too and on top of that every other single member of staff i met or had an appointment with were just brilliant. I felt comfortable and well looked after every single time I came and even on a few occasions where I had to cancel because I was unwell the girls on reception would call to check how I was and if I was okay. You really couldn't come anywhere nicer. Im so grateful for everything they have done for me and I look forward to continuing further treatments here. Recommended to all my friends and family and if you are reading this i highly recommend you come too.

Iāve had such an amazing experience at The York Dental Suite! I went to Dr Meghan Rossuck wanting to achieve a look that other dentists had previously said was unachievable. We decided whitening and composite bonding would be the treatment to do. All throughout both Dr Meghan & her treatment coordinator Rachel were so informative and kept me at ease. Post treatment Rachel explained everything fully and was just at the end of the phone if I had any questions. I canāt believe the results, Iāve finally got the smile Iāve been wanting!! Couldnāt recommend enough and will definitely be back for routine dental āŗļø!

Iād imagine that if you asked most people where they donāt like going Iād guess theyād say to the dentist. If thatās the case theyāve obviously not been to the York Dental Suite.
From the moment you walk through the door you are met by a calm reassuring atmosphere and greeted by friendly staff.
Once in the chair Mafalda is so professional, excellent in explaining what sheās doing and with a real care and wellbeing taking a personal interest in her patient.
From start to finish my experience at the York Dental Suite was first class and Iād thoroughly recommend it to anyone looking to receive outstanding dental care.

My daughter and I visited the dental suite yesterday and everything about our experience was exceptional.
Prior to our appointment I spoke with some of the front of house staff and also Dr Mafalda Queiroz on the phone and they were all so incredibly helpful.
Yesterday Dr Mafalda Queiroz built up my daughterās peg teeth with composite bonding and the final result was fabulous. The colour match and shape of them is perfect. Compared to how my daughterās teeth looked a couple of years ago before her braces, I donāt think we even dreamed her teeth could look so good.

I cannot recommend this dentist enough! As someone who had a dental phobia and still gets nervous, they have been so kind and caring and really put me at ease from the start. I have had to have some emergency work recently and they have been so amazing, taking the time to fullyexplain everything to me and talk through all my options with patience and empathy, making me feel valued and listened to. The atmosphere is more spa like than a dentist and it feels welcoming, relaxed and calm. Everyone there is so lovely and it has made everything much easier to deal with and I wouldn't go anywhere else now š

Mifalda and her team are wonderful. The practice is beautiful and feels professional and sophisticated as soon as you enter. Mifalda is so gentle and kind. I have the worlds most sensitive teeth and she is very understanding and patient. She reassures you throughout any treatment and encourages you to get in touch if youāre are unsure if anything. The whole team from the receptionists to the dental nurses are so caring and professional. I travel a long way to see them all because itās worth it. The treatment I have had so far has been the best I have ever experienced. I canāt recommend them enough.

I was lucky enough to win a competition for a hygiene appointment at the York Dental Suite, and Iām so glad I did! From the moment I arrived, the whole experience was lovely. The environment was incredibly calm and welcoming.
Lily-Ann was absolutely lovely, friendly, and very professional. She took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure I was comfortable throughout the appointment.

So haven't even attended this dentist yet and already impressed. Jemma had replied to my query few weeks back and then followed up.I have now registered my two girls who love the dentist anyway (unlike myself they actually skip in whereas my teeth...ugh I wont even go there)
Can honestly say with me being such a nervous person in general and actually not a people person i felt like i had known Jemma forever as she just made me feel at ease...

From first contact to final appointment,I received a 5 star experience at The York Dental Suite.
On arrival you step into a world of tranquility and calm,so different to any other dentist Iāve attended.I always received a warm and friendly greeting from the reception staff,Pheobe and Chloe.My dentist,Dr.Georgie was wonderful,empathetic,gentle and was assisted by her lovely nurse Irina.
Thanks to this professional,friendly team I can āsmile with confidenceā again.I look forward to my next appointment in 6 months and can highly recommend this outstanding dental suite.

I came to the York Dental Suite late last year as I was getting married in the May and wanted to look at the options for straightening my teeth. From the very first initial enquiry through to my first visit, it was seamless and perfect and nothing was ever too much trouble. As someone who generally doesn't like the Dentist, I felt almost like a member of the family and so welcome, which immediately put my nerves at ease.
The whole team is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable in their field. I cannot thank them enough for everything that they have done for me over the last 12 months. Normally people wouldn't say they will miss the Dentist, but honestly, I will miss visiting often (except for my check-ups) and having a laugh with everyone.
If anyone is looking for a Dentist or to start their Invisalign journey, I would 100% recommend the York Dental Suite. You will not regret it, honestly. My only regret was not coming sooner!

I recently came for my first appointment at the York dental suite for my first dental examination and was greeted by Charlotte and Chloe who were very helpful in explaining what the exam entailed. I then went for my examination with Mafalda which was a Brillant, especially the 3d mouth scan.
I have since then had my first hygiene appointment which was carried out by Abbie. I had an hour long appointment which at any other practice would have felt along time but it flew by. All the staff really make you feel at ease with there calm nature and professionalism

I was with Mafalda before she opened York Dental Suite. I followed her to her practice. Mafalda is an exceptionally good dentist. It's more than a job to Malfalda.
Mafalda is interested in you, makes the experience personal and is very good with people who are nervous or/and Dental/needle phobic.
Mafalda is patient and kind. She has treated all my family at various stages of their lives. She is very gentle in her work, using all the up to date equipment and resources
Mafalda will not overcharge you, is conscious of the cost of living crisis and the lack of NHS dentists now.
Malfada has gone out of her way to ensure I can afford treatments, prioritising what needs to be done now, costings for the future etc so I can budget for this.
I have many problems with my teeth due to health issues and this is important to me to be aware of costings now and for the future, so I can budget.
As you can see from my review I totally recommend Mafalda

I was referred to this practice from another practice, as my problems were described as 'complex'. I saw Dr Stephen Taylor who was extremely friendly and professional, took a lot of time to listen to me and to examine my teeth. He came up with a plan to solve the issues I was having with a very painful crown and several other teeth as a consequence - it was difficult to eat anything. 5 months on after his excellent treatment, I have no pain at all and can eat normally. I am more than delighted with the results and would recommend Stephen and this practice wholeheartedly.

I have nothing but praise to give to everyone in the York Dental Suite. Every member of staff is superb at what they do and I feel so comfortable and relaxed when I go for any kind of treatment. They are all extremely thorough and have what seems to me as the most modern dental equipment possible which leaves no stone unturned in making sure they spot issues before they become a problem. Of course it would be nice if it was cheaper but Iām a great believer in you get what you pay for and I wouldnāt hesitate in recommending them to family and friends.

Never thought I'd see the day I was coming out of a dentist and leaving a 5* review.
Phoned earlier in the week for an emergency appointment and got in this afternoon with Dr Meghan Russock. Amazing! I'm a really nervous patient and wasn't registered at the time of my visit, but I had nothing to worry about. Although I was in the chair for 1.5 hours as apposed to the 35 minutes allocated (my mouth just wouldn't numb) Meghan did everything she could to reassure me, she was calming, supportive and actually made me laugh! Will definitely be my new go to dentist!

I have recently joined the practice and could not recommend it enough. From booking it has been a remarkable experience. The dentist is lovely, caring and great with nervous patients and took the time to listen to me and understand me. The fillings were painless and comfortable. It is so hard these days to find good dentists and everyone at the York dental Suite has been amazing. I had a clean with guided biofilm therapy using hot water and what a lovely and gentle experience that was compared to the old scaling methods I was used to. Thank you for looking after me so well.
